The process of Spiritual Direction/Companionship is like making a reverent bow to the fullness of life and death. We are not alone as we are moved, ever so gently, in a dance with the Divine. Spiritual Direction/Companionship is about holy, compassionate listening and about bearing witness to all that is moving through the body, mind and spirit.
Together we stretch towards the Divine and into the fullness of the journey of life and of death.
Among the many sensations held within the body, there also lies a holy sanctuary. The body’s innate wisdom and intelligence invites us to embrace those experiences with non judgement and compassion. In so doing, we inhabit what is holy within us.
In our human experiences, beliefs and conditioned patterns are often woven within us for safety. Observing these patterns with gentleness and curiosity can be transformative.
We long for connection and belonging. The Spirit reminds us that we are not alone nor are we separate from the Holy One, the Universe, the Earth, from others or from ourselves. Paying attention to our spirit, we remember that we are always in union and unconditionally loved.
Wherever you find yourself on the Spiritual path, I am here to listen and bear witness to you. Through my background of energy balancing modalities of Reiki and BodyTalk, and
my own life experiences, I have learned the importance of listening to the wisdom of the body and of the interconnection of the body, mind and spirit.

In our sessions together, we will meet life and/or death with all its Mystery- in the deep, at the edges or somewhere in between. We will follow the lead of the Spirit and embrace the wisdom of embodiment – the wholeness of being. Life holds deeply sacred moments and ordinary moments – both of which may call forth courage, questions, vulnerability, fear… They are meant to be discerned and embraced, processed and accepted. This is our work together.
The spiritual journey is not linear. It is like a dance, with connections beyond the two of us. Everyone’s journey is unique.
During the 15 minute free consultation, we have some time to get to know each other a little bit. If we discern to work together, we will book an hour-long session.
After booking, you will receive an email reminder with a zoom link or in-person location for your upcoming session.
To start, we have a simple ritual to bless our time. Then, you are invited to share whatever stirs within you. We bring gentle attention to your sacred story.
We close the session with another simple ritual and book the next session.
The free consultation is about 15 minutes long. We can meet by phone or via Zoom- whatever is preferable to you. It is a time where we orient to each other and discern if we feel called to proceed with this professional relationship.
We will touch on questions such as:
• What brings you to Spiritual Direction?
• What do you long for in the sessions? What are your expectations?
• How would you describe your spirituality?
A Spiritual Direction/Companioning session is usually an hour long. We begin in a manner that is comfortable for you – it may be silence, lighting a candle, a grounding exercise, reading a poem…we can work this out together.
Then you are invited to share whatever is stirring in you, what you are experiencing. If this feels challenging, we will move step by step together. Sessions are most commonly scheduled once a month, although this too can be customized to your needs.
There are two options
1. Sessions are held on Zoom. You will receive a zoom link prior to our meeting.
2. If you live in Toronto and would prefer to meet in person, I can offer to meet you on a walk on a quiet path that is conveniently accessible to both of us. Preferably on the TTC line.

3. If we are meeting in person on a walk, cash is also accepted.
The sessions are $90.00. I also offer a sliding scale. Please do not let finances keep you from spiritual direction.

No, you do not have to belong to any specific religion. Everyone is welcome. I offer my support to anyone who is wanting to walk this path of exploring and deepening their spirituality and their relationship to Mystery.
Yes. Everything you share with me is held in deep, sacred trust and confidence.
As a part of the ethics of Spiritual Direction, I meet with a supervisor monthly. This is to ensure I am abiding by the Code of Ethics and doing my own inner work. If I need to share something from a particular session that has impacted me, I WILL NOT use your name or make any reference to who you are. I will not identify you in any way. There are, however, two scenarios when I am required to break confidentiality. If you have a plan of self-harm or of harming others, I am bound to notify authorities for your own safety and for the safety of others.
I have a background in the energy balancing modalities of Reiki and BodyTalk. There may be occasion to use these modalities to compliment your journey. If so, we will discuss possible sessions-which are also held via Zoom. I will not proceed without your consent and without discussion.
